It reflects our living responsibilities to care for the land, water, and all other beings as relatives, not resources. Rooted in relationships of mutual respect and care, kinship reciprocity means tending to the well-being of our homelands while receiving the gifts they offer in balance. It is an ongoing cycle—what we take, we give back—ensuring that future generations inherit a world that is healthy, thriving, and in harmony.
